The only character that seemed believable to me was the mom and Striebdr, there were a few too many dead spots detail that didn’t have to be therebut toward the end I started to cry, it moved me that much.

It was really really scary-at least with my imagination. The last third of this book makes it worthy in my eyes as propelling it into the very good category. Wolfen The Hunger Communion Hunters Its beginning is chilling as you get into the mind of the abductor, Barton Royal, while he is stalking and choosing his victim at the mall. But I have to give Strieber a lot of credit for building the suspense the way he did, considering much of the novel is told from Barton’s point of view.

This started out a little slow, but picks up speed about halfway thru. Billy is a typical kid, maybe a little smarter than some, but just a kid.

Best book ever best ending ever, Camila should read it. To say it’s not light reading, even for those drawn to darker stories, is an understatement. The last 2 chapters or so I felt let down as the ending was what I had expected in some way but there was this sense of disappointment as I was expecting villy more intense that went along the flavor of the rest of the book.
